Child Welfare League of America
Founding Member of the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) an association of almost 1,200 public and private nonprofit agencies that assist over 3.5 million abused and neglected children and their families each year with a wide range of services.

CARF
Boys & Girls Aid has accreditation for a period of three years by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, for the following program services: legal permanency (adoption), respite services, and group home care (at Pettygrove House).

In notifying the agency, CARF President/CEO Brian Boon, Ph.D. stated, “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.”

Association of Fundraising Professionals
Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) promotes consistent and high standards of professional practice to ensure donor trust. Boys & Girls Aid complies with a Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice established by the AFP.

National Association of Social Workers
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics offers a set of values, principles, and standards to guide decision making and conduct when ethical issues arise.
