Ja’Nasjia’s profound words speak for all children. Every child longs to be loved and accepted unconditionally, especially by a doting parent. Ja’Nasjia, Dae Mario and J’Paris are no different. Thoughtful and skilled, Ja’Nasjia cherishes school, chess club, singing and sports. Right now she is especially into swimming and tennis. As long as Dae Mario can play basketball or perform a musical number for an audience (of any size), he’s beaming! Gutsy J’Paris is equally adorable and rambunctious. An avid student of animals and nature, this youth thrives when participating in hands-on activities such as fishing, boating, and camping. Lyden’s dream is to move to Alaska and be a crab fisherman on the Bering Sea (Lyden loves to watch the Discovery Channel show, “Deadliest Catch!”).
In spite of developmental and behavioral challenges, Lyden continues to make progress in his highly structured foster home, and dreams of a place where he really “belongs.” A great family for Lyden will provide him with the structured routine he needs, encouragement and advocacy for his academic success, and opportunities to participate in the activities he loves.

Meet this special brother-sister duo. Together, they laugh and joke as easily as they quibble. Closely bonded, they rely upon each other. Athletic Eddie dreams of becoming a cornerback for the Oakland Raiders. For now, he’ll happily settle for a chance to play local Parks and Rec football. Maria’s goal is to become “famous.” Whether as a singer or future gymnast, she forecasts her future self as “fabulous, stylish and cool.”
Eddie and Maria have come through some rocky times, but have many gifts to share with an adoptive family.
