Adoption at Boys & Girls Aid

A Leader in Adoption

Boys & Girls Aid has been helping families grow since 1885. Over the decades, we have found loving homes for more than 17,000 children.

Boys & Girls Aid specializes in two types of adoptions, infant adoptions and special needs adoptions. Infant adoption is a program for families interested in adopting an infant. Special needs adoption is a program for families interested in adopting children who are waiting in foster care in the state of Oregon. We invite you to find out more about each program, and determine which is the right fit for your family.

Why Adopt with Boys & Girls Aid?

Boys & Girls Aid is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization. There are a number of unique benefits that make adoption different at Boys & Girls Aid.

  • Caring experienced staff available 24/7
  • Adoption clinicians around the state of Oregon as well as in Washington
  • More than 120 years of experience
  • Low case loads
  • A child-focused approach—we find families for children, not children for families
  • Support for all the important people in the adoption process
  • Post adoption services

*Please note: At this time, Boys & Girls Aid is not accepting new applications for infant adoptive families. Please check back in April 2010 for an update.
