Lyden, age 13

image

An avid student of animals and nature, this youth thrives when participating in hands-on activities such as fishing, boating, and camping. Lyden’s dream is to move to Alaska and be a crab fisherman on the Bering Sea (Lyden loves to watch the Discovery Channel show, “Deadliest Catch!”).

In spite of developmental and behavioral challenges, Lyden continues to make progress in his highly structured foster home, and dreams of a place where he really “belongs.” A great family for Lyden will provide him with the structured routine he needs, encouragement and advocacy for his academic success, and opportunities to participate in the activities he loves.
