24,000 Oregon kids, age 12 to 21 are living on the streets.
Wendy’s Wonderful Kids is a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The Foundation, started by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted as a child, awards grants to adoption agencies like Boys & Girls Aid throughout the nation and in Canada.
Through this partnership with the Dave Thomas Foundation, Boys & Girls Aid is able to hire specialized recruiters. These recruiters work to find permanent, loving homes for children in foster care who have been waiting the longest, or who have unique needs that might require a special family.
Boys & Girls Aid and the Dave Thomas foundation believe that every child deserves a permanent family. That no child should linger in foster care or age out of the system without a family to call their own. And we believe that no child is unadoptable.
If you agree, Boys & Girls Aid invites you to take a look at some of the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids who are waiting to meet their permanent family today.
