Safe Place is committed to providing emergency shelter to prevent homelessness

Our Safe Place shelter in Washington County is a 24/7 drop-in program where youth can access essential services while longer-term housing is found.

  • Emergency shelter for youth ages 12 through 20 

  • 24/7 access and hours of operation

  • Basic needs, educational support, and help finding stability 

  • Self-referrals and walk-ins are welcome 

  • Referrals can also be made by families, community members, law enforcement, and providers 

 
 
 

Drop-In Services

Drop-In Hours:

9 am- 12 pm and 4 pm-8 pm everyday

Anyone between the ages of 12-20 are welcome to two hours of drop-in services each day. Drop-in hours can be used to:

  • get to-go food

  • prepare food

  • get clothing and hygiene products

  • use computers for productive tasks

  • do laundry

  • play games

  • socialize

  • participate in groups

  • get resources and referrals
