Oregon Resource and Adoptive Family Training (RAFT), formerly known as Foundations Training

We offer free quarterly RAFT training for all families pursuing the adoption of a child or children from foster care. This training offers 27 content hours (4 full days) in-person geared towards families seeking to adopt from foster care. Registration to attend the training is required. Space is limited with most trainings filling up at least two months in advance.

If the dates below do not work for your schedule or are full, The Oregon Department of Human Services provides RAFT trainings online through a 9-week online series.

If you have questions about Boys & Girls Aid trainings, email trainings@boysandgirlsaid.org or call us at 503.542.2301. We also offer Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings.
