Child Support Volunteers provide supervision and positive adult relationships for youth by creating fun and engaging activities, while helping foster parents have opportunities to attend training that increase their skillsets.
Child Support Volunteer is an unpaid volunteer position providing roughly 2-hours of care per month alongside professional youth care workers during Boys & Girls Aid monthly Foster Parent Training (every third Tuesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm).
This volunteer role requires minimum commitment to some of our training and certification processes but allows you to make a big difference in the life of a foster youth and their family.
