If you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity that works directly with foster youth, consider becoming a Supportive Caregiver. Much like a babysitter or nanny, Supportive Caregivers provide relief care, assistance, and supervision to our full-time foster families. This is a wonderful opportunity for interested volunteers aged 21 and up to make a meaningful direct impact on the lives of the children we serve, with a flexible commitment of two to ten hours per week.
Please note that interested volunteers must receive approval from the State of Oregon and are required to participate in Boys & Girls Aid’s training and certification process.

Become a Supportive Caregiver
If you’re passionate about the mission of Boys & Girls Aid and ready to take on a leadership role in advancing our efforts, consider joining our Ambassador Board. Comprised of community members from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, the Ambassador Board champions our efforts through fundraising, advocacy, and recruitment initiatives.
While the only credential required to join the Board is a desire to support Boys & Girls Aid’s mission, Ambassadors are expected to make a minimum 1-year commitment of service.
